On Tuesday morning I went into Mom and Dads bedroom and woke them up. For those of you who haven't been to my house and wonder why on earth that is worth blogging about it involved climbing out of this bed, with a fall height of 1 meter and climbing this ladder to their bedroom in the attic. They must have really liked it because I got a new bed from IKEA the same day. It took me 2,5 hours to go to sleep in my new bed on Tuesday night I was so excited about it. I had to point out all the parked cars outside from the window and get out of it 15 times to let everyone else try it out.

My friend here took a bath today. Not in the sink but here. You could say he took one for the team. Mom didn't understand where all the water on the bathroom floor came from because I'm not tall enough to reach the bottom of the toilet just yet. Then she found my best friend.

I almost forgot to blog about the elections yesterday. The current Social Democrat/Leftist-Green temorary government won the elections. Dad and I voted in the City Hall. Mom is not allowed to vote. She is still only votes in the IKEA elections. I wonder if the man in the robe and the flip flops remembered to put his ID card somewhere?

We have a big aquarium. It takes up half the living room. I now feed the fish myself. I need to be lifted up though and I reach down until my hand touches the water before I release the fish food. Then I watch the fish for one second and say "meira" (more) and Mom has to explain to me 100 times the fish are not hungry for more. Maybe they should get one of these that doesn't look like it's on a fish flake diet. The photo is taken in the food market in Barcelona and here is the link again to the other food pictures.
I'm very organized and good at jigsaw puzzles don't you think?. Dad took this video on the new camera. He spent all day yesterday uploading it to Youtube. The videos are too big be played here on the blog in HD.
Last night, I went to a barbecue at a girlfriend's house without Mom and Dad. I didn't come home until almost 10 o'clock.
The truth was they wanted Dad to teach a class and Mom was working so they invited me to this barbecue just so that the instructor that was supposed to teach last night would be able to attend the party. But the other story sounds much better doesn't it? Babysitting doesn't sound cool at all.

Today we celebrate first day of summer. I wonder who decided this national holiday should be in April. It's just as cold every year. Today it was 4 degrees Celsius. On the other hand we don't get much summer here so they might just as well get it over with. People kiss and wish eachother a happy summer. The kids get presents. I went to the playground and practised throwing stones.

Here are the last pictures from the weekend trip. As you might have noticed we don't have much green yet in Iceland. The waterfalls coming out from the underground are cool. When you rent summerhouses they come with a hot tub by default. It doesn't matter much how cold it is outside. Water is always good old 39 degrees Celsius.
The summerhouse we stayed in had a genius sandpit. It's lid turned into two benches when opened. I hope someone out there steal the design and build me one. It was located in the local forest. I'm still small enough to get lost among the Icelandic giant trees.
I put these picture in this weeks Tuesday photo theme.

Guess what? We went on a trip last weekend. We stayed overnight in a cabin with my friends. At least they were my friends before I woke up at seven on Easter Sunday and started a non stop conversation with myself. The good thing about having a lousy camera is in stead of coming home having to go go through 500 pictures you have 5 pictures that are almost in focus. So here are all the pictures from the trip voila.
