From this hot tub we saw a whale blowing water repeatedly in the bay outside the village. Who needs fancy whale watching trips?

Water temperatures in Iceland in the summer is not so much to cheer for. They say if you fall overboard and is not used to swimming in these cold waters you have just a few minutes to be saved before you die.

My playschool is now closed until August. I'm off on our summer holiday.
