For the enthusiastic passenger it's necessary to hang out of the window at every stop. When you can't chew gum because your parents think it would make you choke a wet car window has to do. Dad took me to so many Car Parts Dealers today I think he is secretly selling small pieces of our car. We went in my grandfather's car and our car hasn't been around forever.

Today I have been around for 1/2 year. Last week I was finally allowed to leave the floor and sit on my own in the sofa like normal people do. It was such a relief. I thought I was going to be left to lie there until my 55th birthday.
If you come to close to where I'm sitting I can grab your shirt, stand up and bite your nose so you have to watch out.

I've started heating up for the trip to Sweden. I think mom and I will stay in this yellow IKEA tent when we get there. I'm so looking forward to it. Mom says I have a grandmother and grandfather living in IKEA in Sweden that we will visit. Dad took this picture of me with his big zoom lens and I was almost handed in to the lost children's department by the people passing by he was so far away.

We had the best weather ever today. It was amazing. We usually have 3 different kinds of weather just during my daily nap in the garden. I sleep with a thermometer and it can often differ 10°c in an hour or two. I sometimes have a hale storm, snow, rain and sunshine during the same nap.
I took my folks for a walk along the seaside. Then we took a tour to the top of the world. There is a great view from the top of the world but it has a scary bell that rings every 15 minutes. I think it must be the top of the world monster who rings the bell regularly so that the man downstairs can send him new tourists for dinner through the elevator. Luckily for us we live in the neighborhood so we got down again safely.

Today I got to sit upright in the stroller when we went to the supermarket for the first time. The girl at the check out tried to flirt with me and make me smile but I didn't give in. Hey, she is the one who is supposed to be smiling. I am the annoying customer. Mom was hoping I would fall asleep on the way but I managed to stay awake and she had to drag me back home again to put me to sleep. Could someone please tell her that only drunks sleep in the streets!

This weekend I went to stay in a summerhouse with my friends. My parents had to come as well. They didn't let me do anything. I wasn't allowed into the hot tub on the veranda. In stead I had to sleep next to it in a pile of snow while they went in. I wasn't allowed to eat anything that came from the grill or watch TV and they didn't let me play in the snow with the other children. Thank God my friend borrowed me this baby laptop so I could browse the Internet and keep me up to date.

I started eating a while ago. I am a very skilled eater. My folks just need a little more lobbying. They haven't quiet realized what a genius I am yet. And I'm never allowed to eat any of the fun stuff only this glue like substance that tastes like wallpaper paste and sticks to your face. I usually use the spoon as a catapult getting the glue attached to the kitchen walls where it belongs to make my point clear but it has no effect. Mom and dad think that I'm stupid and that I just don't know where my mouth is.

Mom and dad has started taking me to this baby training facilities to teach me swimming. They say I have to learn how to swim before I'll be allowed to drive my grandfather's boat in Sweden. The teacher and my dad take turns diving with me. Diving was a bit scary at first but now I'm almost waterproof.I also get to hang from a pair of rings in the air while they drag me back and forth just above the surface. I don't quiet understand why I just hang on. I was supposed to DRIVE the boat. Although now I have started to think it's a tow-boat and that they'll just leave me hanging on to a rope behind it.

Since it was the last day of the year I decided to get things over with. I rolled over to the stomach and back again today. I also practiced chewing my toes which is really yummy. I didn't actually know I had toes until earlier this week. I know what your thinking but this was BEFORE the party started and I hadn't had any of that white wine!
Later during the evening I met this Swedish redhead that I really fancied. I think she was called Pippi something.

Last night I went downtown walking. Thousands of people do. On December 23 Icelanders cook this really disgusting fish that tastes like ammonium. It smells like your worst nightmare. Afterwards the houses smell so bad that people have to stay outside for the whole evening while strange men wearing masks make their homes inhabitable again. Luckily for me I have no teeth yet so I'm not allowed to eat it. Next year I plan to call in sick. I slept outside a coffee house for a while before we could go back home.
Mom and dad think I grow up so fast they tried to put me in an old people's home today. However they were full so they didn't want me. I got to see my great grandmother while we waited. She is 99 years older than me.In the evening we opened a lot of presents some of them were bigger than me. I even got a package from China. It was brought by the Santa Cat who squeezed it in though the cat entrance downstairs.
